Applied Biosystems Group (NYSE:ABI), an Applera Corporation business,
and Xennex, Inc., the exclusive provider of commercial licenses for the
GeneCards(R) database of human genes, today announced an agreement whereby
Applied Biosystems TaqMan(R) Genomic Assays will be accessible via GeneCards.
Under the terms of agreement, Applied Biosystems will provide GeneCards customers
direct access to its entire collection of nearly three million genomic assays.

the Life Science Market. Under the agreement, the two
companies will develop wrappers for the human genes´
compendium GeneCards®, enabling LION.s SRS users to view
